Why Lift Properly?
Proper poster while lifting is important in preventing injury as well as ensuring good health and quality of life.
This graph shows the relationship of improper lifting (applied load) on our body over time. Throughout the week we tend to brush off small aches and pains in hopes they don’t become worse. These small aches or pains are not normal and is the bodies way of telling us we have applied load improperly and caused micro trauma (small red spikes). Overtime, micro trauma can build up to an intolerable level and this is when we see injury.
